Book of Books has the shape of a secret guarded in public. The Order of the Peregrin does not announce itself with banners or prophecy. It hides in songs, processions, and old performance, quietly protecting a source of power that grows more dangerous the more of it you manage to carry into the feature.

The base game begins on a 5x3 panel with 10 paylines, and almost everything it does is in service of preparing Free Spins properly. Two Scatters do not trigger the bonus, but they do award a powerup, which can mean extra Free Spins, an additional expanding symbol, or an expanding-symbol multiplier. They are stored and taken into the next feature, gradually turning the base game into a kind of preparation ritual where each near-miss can still improve what comes later.
