Voodoo Hex has the intimacy of a dangerous back-room ritual. The 3x3 format keeps everything close to the table: the candles, the talismans, the hexed symbols, the suspicion that once a pattern has been marked it may not be finished with you yet.

The base game uses 5 paylines, but its real personality comes from the Mystery Stack respins. When two reels fill with the same symbol, the feature begins. Those symbols turn into mystery stacks, a respin is awarded, and once the new symbols settle, the stacks reveal themselves as a single randomly selected symbol that can even become Coins with immediate prize values.

Then the curse spreads. Any matching symbols elsewhere on the panel are converted into mystery symbols as well, the stacks drop one step lower, and the sequence continues until the marked symbols have finally worked their way off the board. Throughout that chain, a progressive multiplier grows with every winning respin, which gives the feature the exact sense it should have: an incantation gathering force because it has already been spoken once.

One central Scatter is enough to open Free Spins, with 7, 9, 12, or 15 spins awarded at random. There, the Mystery Stack feature triggers more often, and the progressive multiplier no longer belongs only to the respin chain but to the whole session, applying to every winning spin and respin as the ritual unfolds.
